The Gasthof zum Schlüssel reimagines the concept of tranquility through a harmonious blend of nature and contemporary design. The garden spans an area of 300m² and is designed to provide a retreat-like atmosphere. It merges traditional elements with modern aesthetics to create a space that balances comfort, beauty, and sustainability.
A minimalist, infinity-edge pond serves as the focal point of the garden, surrounded by smooth natural stone pathways. The pond is illuminated with soft, underwater lighting, casting a serene glow in the evenings. Sculptural topiary and ornamental grasses are strategically placed to add texture and movement to the space, while a variety of evergreen plants ensure year-round appeal, complemented by seasonal blooms in the spring and summer months.
A comfortable outdoor living space is created with modular seating made of eco-friendly materials, complete with soft cushions and a firepit. This area is sheltered by a sleek pergola with retractable slats, offering both sunshade and privacy. A Zen-inspired garden, featuring raked gravel, smooth stones, bamboo, and a koi pond, is enclosed in a small section of the property, creating an intimate space for reflection and peace.
